About the Farm

Take a stroll through the square of the little town called San Antonio near Rudy’s farm and you’ll see a beautiful blue fountain in the middle of a palm tree lined plaza. Rudy’s farm sits on the outskirts of the town in the shallow valleys of the Huehuetenango region in Guatemala, where he and his family have been developing a small but growing plot of land that is yielding some fantastic coffees. Rudy sees endless potential in this land. Take, for instance, the coffee you’re currently enjoying. We taste delicate notes of raspberries and cherries, with a lingering note of cane sugar syrup. The perfect flavors for a stroll through the plaza of San Antonio huista on a warm summer day.

Region: Huehuetanango, Guatemala, single-produced by Rudy Lopez Castillo on a six hectare farm

Altitude: 1600 meters

Process: Washed (wet milling and dried on a sun patio)
