About the Farm
NYC is famous for its papaya and hot dog stands. There’s nothing better on a summer day than the refreshing taste of a tropical juice from Gray’s Papaya.
We wanted to select a summer coffee that would transport us back to this time-honored New York tradition. This standout coffee certainly delivers. Galo Morales, a well-known farmer in Ecuador, hand selected the farmers who produced this special coffee. All of them are organized around his award-winning farm, called Finca Cruz Lomas. This is a delicate and tropical coffee. We taste papaya and mango with undercurrents of fresh pear and even rich brown sugar. Sit back, close your eyes, and see the cityscapes of The Big Apple.

Altitude: 1500-1800 meters
Process: Washed (wet milling and dried on a sun patio)
